CLARIN Annual Conference 2026

The CLARIN Annual Conference will take place in Brighton (United Kingdom) from 29 September to 1 October 2026. This is an interdisciplinary event that brings together researchers and practitioners from the social sciences, humanities, and technological fields. Additionally, it is free and accessible to all individuals interested in language technology, emerging trends, and future cutting-edge innovations.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing all interested individuals to participate, regardless of location, financial standing, or personal commitments – either in person or online.

The CLARIN conference features motivating success stories, analyses current issues and challenges encountered by researchers and practitioners, presents innovative solutions and noteworthy accomplishments, and actively facilitates the exchange of ideas and experiences.

Important dates:

  • Until 6 April 2026, abstracts can be submitted (for more information, see here).
  • Until 16 June 2026, acceptance decisions will be communicated.
  • Until 1 September 2026, final versions of abstracts must be submitted.
  • From 29 September to 1 October 2026, the CLARIN Annual Conference will be held.
