CLARIN-LT national consortium was founded in July, 2015 by three universities: Vytautas Magnus University (Centre of Computational Linguistics), Kaunas Technology University and Vilnius University.
In 2020, two institutions joined the consortium: Mykolas Romeris Ųniversity and Baltic Institute of Advanced Technologies.
In 2021, Klaipėda University (the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology) joined the consortium.
