The first EOSC EDEN (EOSC – European Open Science Cloud, EDEN – Enhancing Digital preservation strategies at European and National level) expert meeting will take place in Leuven, Belgium, on 1-2 October 2025 and will:

  • ● Establish the groundwork for a European Expert Curation Network.
  • ● Exchange best practices, experiences, and expertise.
  • ● Build a collaborative vision for advancing data curation and long-term preservation across disciplines and repositories.

If you possess expertise in research data management and long-term preservation, have an interest in research quality management and preservation innovations, and like research data curation, we encourage you to apply.

Main objectives of the European Expert Curation Network:

  • ● Fill in deficiencies in knowledge and experience.
  • ● Provide a collaborative platform for knowledge and experience exchange.
  • ● Ensure that curation practices are consistent across repositories and disciplines.
  • ● Guarantee that data is both accessible and reusable as technology continues to develop.
