The CLARIN-LT consortium received funding for the international project “Membership in the international research infrastructure CLARIN ERIC (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) Plan” (Contract No. VS-15).
Membership of the CLARIN ERIC infrastructure is essential for Lithuania from an international, economic, social, scientific, and technological perspectives. The CLARIN-LT Centre provides the opportunity for all Lithuanian research and study institutions to access accumulated digital resources and technologies in various languages, presents the results of local research to an international audience, and facilitates the integration of Lithuanian resources into a pan-European platform.
The project will be implemented over a five-year period, from 2024 to 2029, and will be developed by members of the CLARIN-LT consortium, with Vytautas Magnus University serving as the coordinating institution, alongside partners Vilnius University and Mykolas Romeris University. The project is funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.
Project leader: Assoc. Prof. Andrius Utka, senior researcher at the Institute of Digital Resources and Interdisciplinary Research (SITTI).
