National Coordinator of CLARIN-Lithuania Became the Chair of CLARIN ERIC General Assembly

April 11, 2016 prof. Rūta Petrauskaitė (Lithuania’s national coordinator) was elected as the chair of the CLARIN ERIC General Assembly. General Assembly (GA) is the body of CLARIN ERIC with full decision-making powers, and it represents all members of CLARIN ERIC. R. Petrauskaitė will take over responsibilities from Helge Kahler (Germany) since 1st of May, 2016 for a term of two years. This election is a great success and acknowledgement of CLARIN-LT community.
