Impressions from the CLARIN Annual Conference 2026

From 29 September to 1 October 2026, the annual CLARIN conference took place in Brighton (United Kingdom), providing an overview of innovations in research infrastructure and outlining future development directions. Participants also learned about the latest language technology tools and resources, as well as ongoing research projects.

At this conference, CLARIN-LT researchers Andrius Utka (VDU, SITTI), Sigita Rackevičienė (MRU), Jurgita Vaičenonienė (VDU, SITTI), Andrius Puksas (VDU, SITTI), and PhD student Aušra Urbanavičiūtė (VDU) participated in meetings of various working groups and committees and delivered presentations.

We are delighted to announce that Assoc. Prof. Jurgita Vaičenonienė was officially elected Chair of the Programme Committee for the annual CLARIN conference 2027.

The next CLARIN ERIC conference will take place on 28–30 September 2027 in Malmö (Sweden).
