Key Events. Lithuania Becomes a DARIAH Partner

Congratulations are extended to Vilnius University and the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore on their successful joining to DARIAH-EU as a Cooperating Partner, the European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities.

DARIAH promotes international and interdisciplinary collaboration by connecting diverse communities across the arts and humanities and enabling knowledge exchange beyond national and disciplinary boundaries. It supports research and teaching through training and capacity-building initiatives, while providing open access to a broad range of digital resources, services, and tools. At the same time, DARIAH contributes to high-level methodological and technical standards and actively disseminates best practices in digitally enabled research.

Established in 2014, the DARIAH ERIC consortium currently brings together 24 full member states: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

DARIAH ERIC cooperating partner countries are: Egypt, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Romania, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
