We are glad that a number of Lithuanian researchers and lecturers attended the conference.<\/p>\n<p>A new initiative of UI (User Involvement) committee, &#8220;CLARIN in the Classroom&#8221; was introduced as one of the conference sessions. The aim of this initiative is to invite the\u00a0university lecturers who\u00a0 use CLARIN resources, tools or services in their courses to present their experience and suggest future steps that can help facilitate and accelerate the further integration of CLARIN into the university curricula.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/programme-clarin-annual-conference-2020#overview\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/programme-clarin-annual-conference-2020#overview<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the presentation <em>Pedagogical Applications of the ORVELIT Corpus<\/em>, Jurgita Vai\u010denonien\u0117 and Jolanta Kovalevskait\u0117\u00a0shared experience how to integrate comparable corpora in translation teaching.\u00a0\u00a0ORVELIT is a monolingual comparable corpus which can be used for Lithuanian language research and teaching.
