CLARIN ERIC<\/a>, or the Common Language Resources and Technologies Infrastructure, is formed by national consortia from member states and observer countries. Each member country, along with observer countries, is required to appoint a national coordinator \u2013 a person responsible for ensuring seamless and continuous collaboration between the CLARIN ERIC infrastructure and the national consortium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Coordinator is responsible for preparing and presenting the national consortium\u2019s annual reports, formulating activity and development plans, and overseeing performance evaluation processes. The National Coordinator leads the effort to tailor and align the CLARIN ERIC strategy with national needs, monitoring its implementation and effectiveness. Furthermore, the National Coordinator develops and advances Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<\/a> measurement frameworks and ensures their effective implementation within the national consortium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Coordinators’ Forum consists of the National Coordinators from all member countries. National Coordinators of Observer Countries participate in the Forum as observers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Coordinators’ Forum is a space where CLARIN National Coordinators exchange ideas, experiences, insights and good practices. The Forum supports the consistency and development of CLARIN’s infrastructure activities, ensures the implementation of the strategies determined by the CLARIN General Assembly<\/a>, coordinates access to national-level resources, tools, and services, and promotes cooperation among members. It also provides advice and recommendations to the Board of Directors<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lithuania became a full member of CLARIN ERIC in 2014. Since the beginning of the membership, the Lithuanian National Coordinator has been Prof. habil. dr. R\u016bta Petrauskait\u0117<\/a>, who was elected to the position of Chair of the CLARIN ERIC General Assembly on 11 April 2016 (additional details can be found here<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2016, Assoc. Prof. Dr Jurgita Vai\u010denonien\u0117<\/a> assumed the role of Lithuanian National Coordinator (see here<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
