From 6 to 9 July 2026, the University of Birmingham<\/a> is organising an online Corpus Linguistics Summer School 2026<\/em><\/a>. The programme is designed to cultivate participants\u2019 ability to engage critically with corpus-based linguistic research, while equipping them with a solid grounding in both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of corpus linguistics. The event has been developed for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summer school will consist of synchronous and asynchronous activities. The synchronous (i.e. real-time) lectures and sessions will take place from 6 to 9 July 2026. Prior to these, participants will be expected to complete preparatory self-study tasks, including watching video lectures and undertaking practical exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
