Consequently, researchers at VMU and MRU have undertaken studies in this domain, aiming to provide clarity and stability in a dynamic and rapidly evolving field. The plethora of new terms presents numerous challenges when translating texts into Lithuanian, and the ambiguity of concepts, along with the absence of established terminology, can create problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Linguists, translators, correspondents, editors, IT specialists, and other professionals who work with languages or IT technologies should take note of the Lithuanian-English Cybersecurity Termbase<\/a>. This valuable resource offers not only the terms in English and their translations in Lithuanian but also provides definitions, uses in context, and additional helpful information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The article also discusses a survey carried out by scientists Sigita Rackevi\u010dien\u0117<\/a> (MRU) and Andrius Utka<\/a> (VMU) ‘Survey Data on Preferences of Lithuanian Cybersecurity Terminology<\/a>‘.
