The CIRCE<\/a> project aims to combat accentism, enhance public awareness, and foster tolerance while promoting the multilingual and multicultural European identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accent discrimination occurs when society fosters negative attitudes towards specific accents. Generalised assumptions regarding individuals or groups encompass aspects such as their education, abilities, social standing, and more. Frequently, these processes occur unconsciously, rendering them challenging to identify and manage. The CIRCE Online Seminar Series addresses a range of socially relevant topics related to accent discrimination. We invite you to participate in these online seminars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
