Advanced developments in Large Language Models and Natural Language Processing enable the analysis and interpretation of intricate historical and cultural datasets, such as oral histories, archival documents, and literary texts, with impressive scale and precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop seeks to promote collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and students across various disciplines, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence within the digital humanities. In addition, interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange aim to promote innovative methodologies, best practices, and a research community oriented towards using advanced computing technologies to study human culture, memory, and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop encompasses a range of topics, including but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u25cf Text analysis and processing related to the humanities using computational methods<\/li><li>\u25cf Usage of the interpretability of large language models&#8217; output for DH-related tasks<\/li><li>\u25cf Dataset creation and curation for NLP (e.g. digitisation, datafication, and data preservation<\/li><li>\u25cf Automatic error detection, correction, and normalisation of textual data<\/li><li>\u25cf LLM based applications for Digital Humanities<\/li><li>\u25cf Generation and analysis of literary works such as poetry and novels<\/li><li>\u25cf Analysis and detection of text genres<\/li><li>\u25cf Emotion analysis for the humanities and literature<\/li><li>\u25cf Modelling of information and knowledge in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Cultural Heritage<\/li><li>\u25cf Low-resource and historical language processing<\/li><li>\u25cf Search for scientific and\/or scholarly literature<\/li><li>\u25cf Profiling and authorship attribution<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submission and publication of academic articles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All submissions must consist of original and unpublished work that is not presently under review.
