The event is organised by the Institute of Foreign Languages of Vytautas Magnus University and the Language Teachers\u2019 Association of Lithuania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This conference aims to bring together everyone interested in the topics of multilingualism (language policymakers, researchers, educators, students, and other stakeholders) wishing to deepen their knowledge in areas such as (but not limited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8211; Implementation of language policies<\/li><li>&#8211; Language preservation and revitalisation<\/li><li>&#8211; Development and assessment of multilingual competence<\/li><li>&#8211; Artificial intelligence in applied linguistics<\/li><li>&#8211; Innovative and technology-based approaches to language education<\/li><li>&#8211; Professional development of language teachers<\/li><li>&#8211; Multilingual issues in translation and interpreting<\/li><li>&#8211; Multilingual issues in literature<\/li><li>&#8211; Contemporary Lithuanian language studies<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The plenary speakers of the conference <em>Sustainable Multilingualism 2025<\/em> \u2014 <strong>Karina Firkavi\u010di\u016bt\u0117, J\u016brat\u0117 Ruzait\u0117, Johan Sandberg McGuinne, and John W.
