On May 14, 2025<\/strong>, from 4:00 PM<\/strong> to 5:30 PM<\/strong> (EEST), a virtual Clarin Caf\u00e9<\/strong> event will take place, focusing on the nuances of communicating with research funders, titled “CLARIN Caf\u00e9 \u2013 How to Talk to Your Funder: A Funder’s Perspective”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will gain valuable knowledge on how to craft strong, compelling proposals for securing funding for research infrastructure \u2014 turning good ideas into well-supported projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alice Dijkstra<\/strong>, a senior programme officer at the Netherlands Organisation of Scientific Research (NWO), will share key insights from a funder’s perspective. She will highlight best practices\u2014what to do and what to avoid\u2014when aiming to secure sustainable funding for research initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
