VS-15). The project is funded by the Lithuanian Research Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project leader:<\/strong> <strong>Assoc. Prof. A. Utka.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board of the CLARIN-LT consortium consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assoc. Prof. Jurgita Vai\u010denonien\u0117<\/strong> &#8211; National Coordinator, represents the CLARIN-LT national consortium in the international infrastructure, coordinates the implementation of the CLARIN ERIC infrastructure requirements and the dissemination of the offered services at the national level among other related activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prof. Sigita Rackevi\u010dien\u0117<\/strong> and <strong>Assoc. Prof. Rita Juknevi\u010dien\u0117<\/strong> &#8211; User involvement coordinators, responsible for user involvement activities, promotion of user participation in CLARIN-LT initiatives and events, presentation of the consortium activities, participation in User Involvement Committee meetings and performing other related activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Andrius Puksas<\/strong> &#8211; Legal Affairs coordinator, participates in Legal and Ethical Issues committee meetings, interprets, prepares and publishes analyses related to legal and ethical issues, publishes CLARIN approved legal and ethical policies, supervises the content of licenses supported by CLARIN and performs other related activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Membership in the CLARIN ERIC infrastructure is important for Lithuania from international, economic, social, scientific and technological points of view. The CLARIN-LT center ensures the opportunity to use the stored digital resources and technologies in various languages \u200b\u200bfor all Lithuanian research and study institutions, presents Lithuanian research to international audiences, and ensures the integration of Lithuanian resources into a pan-European platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The most important planned activities of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u25cf Development of the CLARIN-LT repository (metadata handling, authentication support).<\/li><li>\u25cf Administration and development of the CLARIN-LT Consortium website (https:\/\/clarin-lt.lt).<\/li><li>\u25cf CLARIN-LT data storage administration and service portal support (https:\/\/clarin.vdu.lt\/xmlui\/; https:\/\/corpus.vdu.lt).<\/li><li>\u25cf Participation in CLARIN ERIC National Coordinator Forum and committee meetings.<\/li><li>\u25cf Participation and reporting at the annual CLARIN ERIC General Assembly.<\/li><li>\u25cf Participation of Lithuanian researchers in relevant scientific seminars or conferences.<\/li><li>\u25cf Organization of the annual CLARIN-LT seminars presenting the consortium activities.<\/li><li>\u25cf Curation of the Knowledge Center: providing consulting services on corpus linguistics, the development of Lithuanian language technologies and their application.<\/li><li>\u25cf Organization of user involvement events.<\/li><li>\u25cf Publication of scientific articles.<\/li><li>\u25cf Update of the CLARIN-LT open access repository.<\/li><li>\u25cf Organization of certification of the CLARIN-LT B-type center.<\/li><li>\u25cf Management of open data in accordance with FAIR and GDPR principles, promotion of the FAIR principles, open science, and open data. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clarin-lt.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-27.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clarin-lt.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-27.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1414\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 2017<\/strong>, CLARIN-LT carried out the CLARIN-PLUS project, No. 676529 (H2020-INFRADEV-1-2015-1) (for more information click here), which included a workshop on \u201cCreation and Use of Social Media Resources\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clarin-lt.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-28.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clarin-lt.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-28.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1415\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 2015-2016<\/strong>, VMU Centre of Computational Linguistics and VMU Faculty of Informatics, together with VU and KTU partners, carried out the project of Lithuania\u2019s membership in the international research infrastructure \u201cCommon Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CLARIN ERIC)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project leader: Assoc.
